This page covers common errors and issues you may encounter when using the Pofano API, along with steps to resolve them.

Cause: Missing or invalid API key.

Solutions:

Verify that the Authorization header is present and correctly formatted: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY.
Ensure your API key has not expired or been revoked.
Check that you are using the correct key (not a key from another service).

Cause: Insufficient quota or permissions.

Solutions:

Check your remaining quota in the console.
Verify that your key has access to the requested model.
Top up your balance or contact support if you believe the restriction is in error.

Cause: Wrong endpoint URL or unsupported model name.

Solutions:

Verify the base URL is https://ai.pofano.com.
Check that the model name is correct and available. Refer to the /v1/models endpoint or the List Models page for available models.
