Complete API documentation for Pofano.

Pofano provides a focused set of public REST APIs for text generation workflows. The gateway stays compatible with the OpenAI API format while also supporting provider-native formats such as Anthropic Claude and Google Gemini, so you can route across upstream AI capabilities without changing your application code.

AI Model APIs#

Pofano currently exposes the following text-oriented endpoints through the public documentation:

• Chat Completions — The primary endpoint for conversational AI, supporting streaming and function calling.
• Responses — OpenAI Responses API format for output-focused generation.
• Text Completions — Legacy text completion endpoint for single-turn generation.
• Claude Messages — Native Anthropic Claude Messages API format.
• Gemini — Native Google Gemini API format.

Management APIs#

• Billing Summary — Query your current quota, usage, and remaining balance.
