Understanding billing, quota conversion, and pricing.

Overview#

Pofano uses a quota-based billing system. This page explains how quota works and how to check your balance.

Quota Conversion#

Quota is the usage credit unit on Pofano.

What Is Quota?#

Quota represents your available usage credit. When you make an API request, quota is deducted proportionally to the number of tokens processed and the model's per-token pricing. Different models consume quota at different rates. In many deployments, 500,000 quota is roughly one USD-equivalent unit.

Checking Your Balance#

From the Console#

1. Log in to your deployment's dashboard.
2. Navigate to the Balance section.
3. Your remaining quota is displayed prominently.

Via API#

You can also check your balance programmatically. Refer to the Billing Summary API endpoint for programmatic balance queries.

Topping Up#

Purchase additional quota from the console's Top Up page. Payment is processed through supported payment providers.

Model-specific pricing (quota per token) is displayed on the Pricing page.
